ViroPharma, an American pharmaceutical company, develops and markets pharmaceutical medications to address serious human diseases and viruses. With a primary focus on cytomegalovirus (CMV) and hepatitis C virus (HCV) infections, ViroPharma is dedicated to raising awareness of these and other viral diseases, advancing medical research, and improving patient care.
The project involved designing and creating scientific literature, marketing materials, and conference collateral to effectively convey, share, and promote data about their products and discoveries. A key component was the creation of highly detailed charts, graphs, and scientific illustrations to support the complex medical writing and research findings.
In addition to the technical design work, the project also required the integration of creative photography, image retouching, and custom illustrations. This added a touch of playfulness to each design, particularly for the European conferences where the materials were presented. The creative elements were tailored to reflect the unique character and culture of each location, ensuring that the materials were engaging and impactful while adhering to ViroPharma’s scientific integrity and branding guidelines.
